21 BUMP STREET (COMPLEX)
FREE FOR ALL
Equipment:
- 1 Red solo cup
- 2 ping pong balls
- Table (or hard surface)
Rules:
Set up a cup on a table or landing of your choice. (photos below)
Stand behind the table in a line or if you are not using a table pick a spot to shoot from (10-20 feet away generally).
The player who is in first will shoot first and so forth.
When the game begins, the first person will shoot the ball trying to get it into the cup. Once the ball hits an object (hopefully the cup), the player behind them can shoot the second ball. ALWAYS REMEMBER WHO IS BEHIND WHO!!
If you miss, grab the ball and put it in the cup as fast as you can. Be quick because if the person shooting behind you gets it in first, you are out. THIS IS A RACE!
Once a ball has been sunk, pass the ball to the next player in line and go to the back of the line, unless the player behind you sinks it first and in that case pass the ball to the back of the line and stand off to the side.
Continue until there is one player left. If it is the final two and you are the person who is shooting first, when you score, take the ball to the chosen spot to shoot and shoot as you are now the player behind the one still shooting. You now have a chance to knock them out.
This is how you start! Player one shoots to start it off
In the case below, player one missed and retrieved the ball off to the side. Now player 2 is trying to beat player 1 by getting their ball into the cup before player 1. They do NOT have to wait for the other to shoot. This is a race!
Player 1 was able to score first and gave their ball to player 3 waiting in line.
In the photo below, Player 1 then goes to the back of the line as they are safe. Player 2 in the mean time has missed and now retrieved their ball off to the side and continues to shoot in hopes player 3 does not sink their ball first.
(Player 3 can go as soon as they get the ball from player 1)
Player 3 was able to sink their ball before player 2.
In the photo below, both player 2 and player 3 gave their balls back to the next players in line. Player 2 is now eliminated and player 3 goes to the back of the line. Continue this process!
Now for this example, let’s say player 1 knocks out player 4.
(no pictures of this)
Player 1 who just knocked out player 4 by sinking their ball first takes their ball and goes behind player 3 show in the photo below!
Things get a bit different with 2 players left as you have no one to give the ball back to.
So now we are down to the final 2.
The photos below are an example of how that works!
Right now in the photo above, player 1 is sitting in the power position as they can eliminate player 3.
Let’s say player 3 sinks their first shot, grabs the ball and goes into the back of the line show in the photo below!
Now player 3 is in the power position and has the chance to eliminate player 1!
Now lets say player 1 misses and rushes to get their ball to continue to shoot, in the mean time player 3 misses as well.
In the photo below they are both scrambling to get their balls where ever it landed and score their ball first!
Player 1 sinks theirs first and runs to the back of the line shown in the photo below, where they can now shoot right away to try and eliminate player 3!
(Remember player 1 was ahead of 3 at this point so sinking their ball first only saved them)
Once player 1 gets back to the line (shown below), they are now in the power position. They shoots as quick as possible! Let’s say they sink it first try before player 3 was able to sink theirs!
Player 1 wins!!
